-According to Pro Football Talk.com, Niners Defensive coordinator Mike Singletary is an early candidate to take over the helm at Atlanta. [Gotham Note] This could be a great move. although his defense is ranked 22nd this year with all their key free agent signings, they have gotten better every year he has run the D. His tenacity is infectious as you see with his defenses as they never give up on games. Bringing a guy in with a name like his could also convince key players like Deangelo Hall who want to leave, to stay.  Hall was developed by the Falcons so to not completely prosper from their work would be a sad thing for them. It's hard to get a top corner in this league and many people argue numbers saying he isn't but unlike baseball, football is not a game of numbers and name presence on that side is nothing but good.
