Early Edition

-Andruw Jones is moving to tinsel town for two years and 36 million. (WWL)

-25% of the supplements tested had small amounts of steroids in them and 11% has banned substances...Maybe all those athletes who claim "it was something in their supplements" were onto something? (USA Today)

-..and on that note, Jose Guillen reaches a three year deal with the Royals...then gets suspended for his use of HGH. (Yahoo Sports)

-Rolen finally says he wants out. Could it be that the release of La Russa's video to the public pushed him so far over the edge that now not only does he not want to talk to him, he now can't even look at him? (WWL)

-Heisman invites went to Tebow, Brennan, McFadden, Daniel. Expect a post on the Heisman later. (WWL)

-Cavs Match the Bobcats offer for Varejao. Danny Ferry should thank the Bobcats for completing the negotiation for him. (WWL)

-Highly Unlikely but worth mentioning this trade posibility to the Mets. (RealGM)

-Pats CB Asante Samuel won his right to become an unrestricted free agent after this season. He signed a one year tenure this season that states if the pats won 12games this season, he would earn that right. Could this mean Asante could join his old defensive backs coach/ defensive coordinator Mangini in Gotham? If they offer him Nate Clements money then why not. Pro Football Talk

-Nats have been making a lot of really bold moves so far this off season being very pro(?)active on the trade market. They traded for Mets lightning rod Lastings Milledge while getting rid of some ridiculous contracts and traded for possible 3-5 starter Tyler Clippard. What might have gone under the radar is that they also acquired Elijah Dukes "my baby mama" for nothing. Considering they took on Lastings Questionable (although i thought entirely misinterpreted for intensity and excitement for the game) Attitude and were willing to bring on the notorious bad boy of the minor leagues, it appears the Nationals are willing to sacrifice character for skill and frankly with their attendance quickly dwindling before they even move to their new park, do they have any other choice? (Washington Post)

-If you have a good 15 minutes to spare, here's a good interview with Joe Frazier on his life. Smokin' Joe isn't look very healthy but still dapper none the less. (WWL)
